Author:

Ivan Bentchev, born 1944 in Lovetch, Bulgaria, studied at the Academy of Art in Cracow, Poland, in the fild of restauration.

1972: diploma and master's dissertation. He subsequently moved to Germany and studied History of Art and Slavic language and literature at the University of Bonn.

Since 1973, he has been active in the preservation of monuments in the German Rhineland.

He is the author of numerous publications on Western and Eastern European art.
