The liturgical chants of Russian monks are a source of delight for thousands of people and the fascination that the mysticism of the Eastern Orthodox Church holds remains unbroken – missa mystica incomparably portrays the sensual experience of Orthodox mysticism and provides indepth information about the Eastern Orthodox Church.

Icons play a special role, as Holy pictures and works of art, mediators between Heaven and Earth, between Mankind and God.

A CD of the liturgical chants of Russian monks is available commercially to complement the book.
